Using what you have for Curtains

Donna over at Funky Junk has great ideas for window treatments.
My home has two rooms that are in need of new "duds" .
I created the curtains above for hubby's house out of flour sack drying towels from walmart
and fabric I had on hand - just added two ruffles to the bottom.
Total cost about $5.

I really love these

but the men in my house would probably have a problem with all the frills.

Matilda Jane

Some of my inspiration is coming from this site.
The photography is amazing and the clothes are adorable.

I had to get this skirt

and this skirt

and they look great with these.

Ok.  I am back on a budget!!!  no more spending.

Well,  maybe after I get these.

Hopes for next year's garden

Click on the image to see the detail of the painting.

With the season change and everything turning brown and gray here in the mountains, I find myself already making new plans for next years garden at Periwinkle Pass.

The growing season was much too short this year. The inspiration for this painting - if flowers and veggies can be cultivated here maybe it is a time to grow more joy, gratitude, blissfulness, contentment, happiness and love.

Periwinkle Pass has now moved to periwinklepass.com. You should be redirected if you go to the blog, but if not... just click on this link.

Today I will start listing items for the holidays on Etsy. Hopeful, there will be a few new items each evening. If you are interested in purchasing something you see in a posting and don't want to go through Etsy, just send me an email or leave a comment.
